Sabine Studer

 

Founder and co-owner of Primaschool foreign language centre. Sabine was born and raised in Germany. She studied English and German literature with a focus on pedagogical methods at Koln University (Universitat zu Koln) whilst attending a Greek language course at the university's Byzantine History faculty. After graduating, she worked as an English and German language teacher in a High School in Hamburg for two years, attending teaching seminars during the same period. In 1992, she moved to Corfu and has been involved in English and German language teaching, as well as Greek language teaching to foreigners ever since.

 

Sabine has taken part in a wealth of educational seminars both in Greece and abroad. She has specialised in the teaching methodology of all ages and is highly experienced in the preparation of TestDaf (prerequisite for studies in Germany)as well as goethe Zertifikat C2.

Since 2009, Sabine has been a certified oral examiner for the National Foreign Language Exam System (KPG Exams) for all levels A1 through C1.

Βesides teacher training, Sabine has also been trained in business administaration and is very experienced in the organisation of educational trips to the UK and Germany. In addition, she is in charge of recruitment services and acts as an organiser and supervisor of EU programmes aimed to promote German language learning in addition to candidate preparation for studies in Germany.

 

Xanthi Vaggalati

Founder and co-owner of Primaschool Foreign language centre.

Xanthi was born and raised in Berlin where she lived until her teenage years. She is bilingual in German and Greek. She studied at the Aristoteleion University in Thessaloniki, Greece and was awarded with the Groses Deutsches Sprachdiplom by the Goethe-Institut, from which she received a scholarship.

Xanthi has had 24 years’ experience in German language teaching at all levels and to all ages, from pre-school to adults. She has attended a wealth of pedagogical, instructive and teaching methodology seminars. Since 2009, she has been a certified oral examiner for the National Foreign Language Exam System (KPG Exams) for all levels A1 through C1.

Xanthi has also attended specialized training seminars in business administration and management as well as human resources management. She has been involved in the organisation and supervision of human resources seminars and EU programs with a focus on German language teaching and professional training of young adults to live and work abroad (Germany). She has also organised German language teacher trainer seminars and teaches Greek as a foreign language. For a number of years, through Primaschool, she has been in charge of the organisation of educational trips to the UK and Germany.  Finally, she is a member as well as representative of the local union of the Panhellenic Federation of Language
